Smart Anaesthesia
Monitoring

Conox® 2D is a non-invasive depth of anaesthesia monitor that aims to monitor patient's consciousness and responsiveness during general anaesthesia or sedation.

Two Monitoring Solutions in One Device

Experience the power of dual monitoring with Conox® 2D, the smart anaesthesia monitoring solution that offers two monitoring solutions in one device. With the qCON index assessing the patient’s state of consciousness during sedation and general anaesthesia procedures, and the qNOX index providing the patient’s probability of response to noxious stimuli, Conox® 2D ensures comprehensive monitoring for both adult and paediatric patients in the Operating Room and Intensive Care Unit environments.

qCON index assesses the patient’s state of consciousness when undergoing sedation and general anaesthesia procedures.

80-99

Awake

61-79

Sedation or light anesthesia

40-60

Adequate anaesthesia

0-39

Deep anaesthesia

qNOX index provides the patient’s probability of response to noxious stimuli.

61-99

Patient likely to respond to noxious stimuli

40-60

Patient unlikely to respond to noxious stimuli

0-39

Very low probability for the patient to respond to noxious stimuli

Spectrogram visually represents EEG signal frequencies over time, showing changes in power across different frequencies.

It helps anaesthesiologists quickly identify brain activity patterns, aiding in real-time decisions for patient safety and optimal anaesthesia management.

BSR Burst-Suppression Ratio

provides a measure of the percentage of flat EEG observed in a 30 second time frame. This parameter is helpful for detecting deep anaesthesia.

EMG Electromyography Index

refers to the facial component of the muscular electrical activity embedded in the EEG recording. The EMG energy (in decibels) is in the frequency range of 30-42 Hz.

SQI Signal Quality Index

in a 0-100 dimensionless scale, SQI represents the quality of the EEG signal and is calculated based on artefacts.

Usability

  • Indices range from 0 to 99.
  • Spectrogram view on the screen.
  • Touchscreen with easy access to the menu.
  • Manual and automatic sensor impedance check every 15 min.
  • Audio and visual advisory alerts for qCON values.
  • Case recording.
  • Case visualisation.

Stability

  • Fast calculation of patient’s status during intravenous and inhaled anaesthesia.
  • Stable and reliable monitoring, helping anaesthesiologists to reduce the risks associated with anaesthetics.

Portability

  • Compact and lightweight design for easy portability.
  • 1.5 hours of battery life.
  • Easy attachment with a 360° pole clamp.
  • Bluetooth® connectivity.
  • Conox connectivity with Android and iOS (ConoxView App).

Easy monitoring and control through the ConoxView App

The ConoxView app, compatible with Android, iOS, and PC devices, provides Bluetooth® connectivity for effortless visualisation of Conox® indices and spectrogram data from ongoing cases. Users can conveniently access critical monitoring information on their preferred platform, whether it's a smartphone, tablet, or personal computer. Additionally, the app enables easy saving and storage of cases directly on the device, ensuring flexibility and accessibility in managing patient data.
